Julatten Initiative Group (JIG)
JIG is a not for profit community organisation, it is the managing body of the Julatten Community Centre. Since 1998 one of the main focuses of JIG has been addressing much needed family childcare within the community. The Centre is run by motivated and dedicated staff who run programs such as Limited Hours Care, Outside School Hours Care, Vacation Care and a Creche and Kindergarten. The Centre also offers a variety of health and social services to the community with a visiting women's health clinic held once a month, public access to computers and the internet is available and a personal and family support and referral service.
