Julatten Family Fellowship

JULATTEN FAMILY FELLOWSHIP

Communities are strongest when they are served by as many community based organizations as possible.

Julatten Family Fellowship is one such group endeavouring to establish a Christian influence in our neighbourhood for almost five years.

WE ARE NOT INTO DOOR KNOCKING!

We are a group who recognize and know Jesus Christ as our Creator God, and obey His commands to love Him first, and our neighbour as ourselves.

Therefore we offer both practical and spiritual support to locals and non-locals. A sample of support given is to:

(a) Christian education at Julatten, Mt Molloy and the other six schools in the area.

(b) Mossman High School Chaplaincy

(c) Lifeline

(d) Cyclone, flood and bush fire relief

(e) Indigenous Ministries Links Australia who are dedicated to educating Aboriginal Communities about health and improvements in lifestyle.

(f) Gordon & Cora Davis who have for the last twenty years visited outback properties in Far North Queensland and New South Wales, just being friends, helpers, confidants, and a means of direct aid to drought areas

(g) Finances and physical support for East Timor "Housing the Locals" Project

(h) Homes, health and education to abandoned children in Kalamantan Province in Borneo

(i) Aids clinics and orphanages in Africa

(j) Christian Blind Mission (CBM) which has been improving eyesight, etc., all over the world for over 100 years.

Plus many more.

We do align ourselves with the main church groups, i.e. Catholic, Anglican, Uniting, Assembly of God and Australian Christian Churches etc., and attend Combined Church meetings Sunday nights. However, having independence we can direct our funds directly to the need.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We welcome you to come along Sundays from 9.30am at the Shed in English Park, where you will find good friends, fellowship and food, both physical and spiritual.

As we are a family fellowship, children of all ages are catered for. Singles are also most welcome.

If you need prayer or help of any kind please phone our Co-ordinator on 4094 1269.
