Staff sees children as powerful, competent learners, valuing families as partners. Our focus is that children learn through play, every child has a right to a good start in life and Limited Hours Care is a stepping stone to help the children on their journey. There are lots of games to do for the little ones and some of the activities we are offering are: Craft and Art which helps with the fine motor skills, creativity, cognitive development colours and sensory awareness. Children like to dress up, which helps self help skills and social skills. They can be creative and express themselves, they use language and communication and motor skills. Music and also making their own instrument, they can experiment with sound and beat, play along with the music or make their own music and dance with ribbons and streamers, singing poems and rhymes. We have a home corner; we also do cooking together with the children. There is water play and sand play this play gives the child to experience different textures volume, size, shape and weight. Blocks, dolls, cars and bikes, fort, puzzles, books, drawing, writing, play dough, nature and the garden, pebbles, wood, shells.
